Founder and Music Director of the Vivace Music Academy. Antonio Rincón was born into the heart of a musical family consisting of several generations of classically trained musicians and professional violinists.
He began his formal training under the tutelage of his father Augusto Rincón at Santo Domingo’s National Conservatory of Music, where he later continued his studies with violinist Jolanda Janckar. Mr. Rincón was chosen to study under full scholarship at the New World School of the Arts with former concertmaster of the New York Philharmonic Rafael Druian, as well as Sigrun Edvaldsdottir, Cathy Meng Robinson, and legendary violinist Ida Haendel.
Mr. Rincón holds undergraduate and graduate performance degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music, where he studied with renowned violinist Victor Danchenko, pupil of the virtuoso David Oistrakh.

He is currently a member of the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra at the Kravis Center, The Boca Raton Symphonia, and the Palm Beach Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Rincón is a resident artist at the Bak Middle School of the Arts, founder of the Vivace Chamber Music Society, and artistic director of the Vivace String Orchestra Summer Academy. He also serves as a performer and faculty member at Lucerne Music Center as well as the Saint Agustin Chamber Music Festival, the Santo Domingo Music Festival and the Appassionato Music Festival.
In 2015, Mr. Rincón was recognized by the American Protégé International Competition for “extraordinary dedication and achievement in teaching and presenting students to perform as competition winners at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall”.
His most recent solo performances include concerto for violin and orchestra by Aram Khachaturiam with the National Symphony Orchestra of Santo Domingo, the Grand Duo Virtuoso for violin and double bass by Giovanni Bottesini with The Appassionato Philharmonic in the Dominican Republic, the Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, with the La Camerata Washington Heights in New York City, among many series of violin and piano recitals in South Florida.
He has appeared in concerts at the Miriam A. Friedberg Concert Hall in Baltimore, the National Theatre of Santo Domingo, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music in New York, Campos do Jordão Winter Music Festival in Brazil, Vienna Music Festival in Austria, Festival Mayormente Mozart in Puerto Rico, Merkin Concert Hall in New York, The Tanglewood Music Festival, The Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Baltimore, The Inter-American Development Bank in Washington D.C., Kravis Center, Lincoln Center, and the Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, among others.
Mr.Rincón has performed chamber music throughout the United States and Europe as a member of the Heréncia String Quartet and is the founder and first violinist of the Culturas String Quartet in residence at the Vivace Music Academy in West Palm Beach FL.
Mr. Rincón made his first televised solo debut at the age of 15 with the Santo Domingo National Conservatory Chamber Orchestra, and has since been featured in numerous radio broadcasts throughout Latin America, the United States and Europe. After watching one of Mr. Rincón’s televised performances, singer Julio Iglesias decided to award Mr. Rincón with a grant to obtain a violin in recognition of his talent and dedication.
He has also served as a faculty member of both the Wilmington Music School and the Bryn Mawr Conservatory of Music for several years. He has performed with numerous symphony orchestras such as the Concerto Soloist Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra, the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Delaware Symphony Orchestra.
Mr. Rincón is committed to the promotion and elevation of the Chamber Music tradition, as well as the furtherance of music education more generally.
